About Alice Cooper
Alice Cooper spearheaded the introduction of "shock-rock" and brought theatrical rock to the stages before the world had heard of Ozzy Osbourne or Kiss. On the stage, they used ghoulish props (from guillotines to boa constrictors) and staged gory scenes. But the theatrics worked and Alice Cooper is considered an innovator and an influencer. After being banned and censured repeatedly, the record sales just went up and Alice Cooper grew into something legendary. In 2011, the band was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.
